Sarah brings 10+ years of experience with a strong state and local tax background primarily focused on income tax as well as sales and use tax. She has served clients across a broad range of industries with state tax planning including developing increased efficiencies around regulatory compliance and tax minimization strategies. Sarah enjoys using an analytical mindset and divergent thinking to identify and execute strategic tax savings plans.
Prior to CALincentives, Sarah worked in industry and public accounting, most recently 6 years with Deloitte specializing in state and local income tax. She brings a wide range of expertise in the state and local tax arena but also understands the pain points of clients and is excited to help bridge that gap by finding the most lucrative incentives while maintaining streamline internal processes. Sarah is an Arizona Certified Public Accountant, holding a BS in Accountancy and MST from Arizona State University.
Outside of work, Sarah has a deep love for our four-legged friends, especially dogs. Beyond her obsession with her own pets, Sarah enjoys volunteering at multiple no-kill animal shelters and rescues. She is passionate in helping the pets less fortunate than her own and truly believes in the “Adopt, Don’t Shop” mindset.
