Leslie joins our team after serving two gubernatorial appointments with the State of California. Her responsibilities as Deputy Director, CalBIS in the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development provides California Incentives Group clients the advantage of first-hand knowledge of federal, state and local economic development incentives and the relationships needed to navigate those programs.
Prior to her appointments, Leslie was twice elected Mayor and City Council Member for the City of Yuba City, instilling a heightened sensitivity to the importance of jobs and the tools businesses need to grow and thrive. Her 25+ years of private sector experience primarily focused on real estate, construction, development and site selection thus giving her a strong foundational understanding of the general challenges of business operation and the intricacies, costs and roadblocks associated with selecting locations to operate, locate and expand a business operation.
